Quite frankly, there is no reason we need to sound like we never left second grade. I don't see anything wrong with sounding like we just walked out of a Victorian era novel ;);) Having good grammar and a decent vocabulary is attractive to everyone. Well, most everyone that is. This is something Hannah and I have been working on.
Decent vocabulary is an art! As young women, we should honor Christ in our speech and conduct, and that includes the words we choose to use. :)
ReplyDeleteTrue; I find that a good way to grow your vocabulary is to read a ton *cough* I mean a great deal of well-written or classic books. I'm working on that as well. :) ~<*>~
