Great Quote

"If it falls your lot to be a street sweeper, sweep streets like Michelangelo painted pictures, sweep streets like Beethoven composed music.... Sweep streets like Shakespeare wrote poetry. Sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will have to pause to say: 'Here lived a great street sweeper who swept his job well."
Martin Luther King Jr.
This is essentially the same thing as saying do everything to the glory of God. Everything we do, no matter how seemingly small and insignificant, we should do with all are might as unto God. Whatever your calling is throw your whole heart into it. Anything worth doing is worth doing with all your might. For those of us who are students, let's study for the glory of God. For us daughters at home, let's serve our families with all our might that in doing so we serve our Lord and maker.
"Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." 1 Corinthians 10:31

  1. Oh, I love it! Thank you for posting that! I agree! Whatever situation God has you in, it is the place that He WANTS YOU to be in. You will further His kingdom better there than anywhere else. Therefore we must do all we do to His Glory! Even if you are sweeping streets;)
