What Has Been Happening

Good Evening, y'all!! It has been a busy week here at the Cox household!! But it has been busy in the very  best sense of the word :) At the beginning of the week two of my friends and I donated our hair to Locks of Love. It was alot of fun to get new hairstyles and support a great cause.








 Later in the week  our dear friends, the Gindorfs, spent two days with us. We had a wonderful time with them.  Lot's of late nights, old stories and good fellowship. And our time together is never complete without at least one photo shoot :):)


                                                 This is our really sad attempt at a heart :/ ;)




We were very sad to see them leave but we look forward to spending more time with them in the near future ;)


 My photography project is coming along fine. I am mostly trying to get into a habit of having my camera with me all the time and trying to see things in a new perspective. Speaking of seeing things from a new perspective, the 1000 Gifts challenge has really opened my eyes to all the things around me that I have to be thankful for. And not so much the things I have discovered but also reading what those who are doing it with me are thankful for is also really cool.

    I love the picture of Emma and Hannah with the bubble gum :D My New Year has gone pretty well so far. I've been pretty busy with editing my novel and schoolwork. Let's see, favorite activity with friends... either just hanging out and chatting, shopping together or camping and hiking. Quite the combination, huh? :)

      Hahaha thanks!! That was probably the 30th attempt at that picture ;) They could not coordinate the hands, bubbles and faces :)

    The fourth photo is super cute! I also love the bubble gum one too! This year has been really busy but hopefully it will slow down soon. My favorite thing to do with friends is probably crafting :)

      Thank you :):) The bubble gum one was their idea. I think Emma saw it on Pinterest.
      I didn't know you liked crafting!! We should do some next time we are together :)

    I love all the pictures!! The hair ones are cool, and the bubble gum one does look like something from Pinterest!!
    My new year has been good. Favorite thing to do with friends...hmmm....well I suppose you know what I like to do since I do it all with you:) taking walks to the store is one of my favorites!

      I love walking to the store with you. Actually, you are pretty much then only friend I walk to the store with being that up here we can't walk to the store :) Photo shoots, tea parties, Dutch Blitz, sewing and sitting on the couch are also some of the things I like doing with you ;)
